Many physicians and medical experts today consider the use of lasers as the best and most effective method of tattoo removal.

The Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser is one of the safest and most efficient machines in removing tattoo ink. With the laser directed at the tattoo site, pulses of light pass through the skin's surface (the epidermis) into the layer below (the dermis). The tattoo ink absorbs the energy released from the laser light and heats up, fragmenting into tiny particles.

Following treatment, the body's lymphatic system recognizes the ink particles as foreign matter and flushes them from the body. With each treatment, more ink particles are eliminated and the tattoo becomes lighter, eventually fading out.
